The Sheridan Press Sports Awards is an opportunity for Sheridan County athletes to come together at a red carpet event May 21 at 7:00pm at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center. Doors open at 6:30pm.
The Sheridan Press sports staff annually chooses nominees and eventual winners based on coach recommendations and Press staff institutional knowledge of the athletes and teams from covering them throughout their seasons, which includes other sources like athlete statistics and accolades.
Those receiving nominations receive a complimentary ticket to the event. Nominees will receive a commemorative ticket they must redeem at the WYO Theater Box Office.
