Chamber Awards of Excellence

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce will host its 26th annual Awards of Excellence celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 26, starting at 5pm at the WYO Theater.

The Chamber will recognize all of the nominees and announce the recipients in four awards categories: Community Champion, Strength of Sheridan, Business of the Year and Business Person(s) of the Year.

The nominees are as follows:

Community Champion Award Nominees: Dave Kinskey, Kim Love, Marlin Norling, NTEC – Spring Creek Mine and Sheridan Police Department.

Strength of Sheridan Award Nominees: CENTURY 21 BHJ Realty,Inc., Dick Anderson Construction, Hospital Pharmacy, Kendrick Golf Course, and Sheridan County Public Library System.

Business of the Year Nominees: Core Physical Therapy, D.B. Smart Homes & Security, Fly Shop of the Bighorns, Fremont Toyota of Sheridan and Rocky Mountain Discount Sports.

Business Person of the Year Nominees: Becky Cooper, Kennon; Megan & Chris Crow, MC2 Collaborative and MC2 Real Estate + Land Company; Jeff Garrelts, Craftco; Irving Robinson, M.D., Sugarland Walk-In Clinic; and Larry Storo, Jr., McDonalds.

The nominees were named by the Chamber's Board of Directors,and the recipients were selected by the Chamber membership via online vote.

A reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres will be held from 5 to 6pm with the ceremony to follow.
