Open to students in grades 4th-8th, the Sheridan County Youth Choir SCYC builds connections between community, musicianship, and joy. The Sheridan County Youth Choir is split between the Boys Choir and the Girls Choir. Auditions are held in the Fall and Winter leading into each of the two semesters. Each Semester concludes with a concert–one in December and one in late April.
Regular rehearsals take place on Mondays from 5:00-6:15 PM at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.

The set fee for participation is $100 per student per semester (Fall and Spring).
Pay-What-You-Can: Instead of scholarships, we are offering families the opportunity to name their own participation fee amount as necessary. This option is open to everyone: the WYO is grateful for the many contributions of the families–you are what sustains this program on into the future!
Families may pay in person through the following methods:
Cash (in envelope with student name)
Check (made out to “WYO Theater”)
Physical payments may be delivered to Choir rehearsal in Tandem Hall or to the WYO Theater Box Office (Hours: Wed-Fri, Noon-5:00pm).
