The Glass Menagerie
“The Glass Menagerie” is one of Tennessee Williams’ most treasured works, and a staple of the American Theatre canon. The semi-autobiographic play centers on the three members of the Wingfield family, who all yearn for a better life after the family patriarch has abandoned them amidst the urbanization of St. Louis in 1933. The student-created lighting and scenic designs highlight the heaviness and humor in this, the most famous of memory plays.
