Each year our local student-athletes battle on and off the field, representing the community across the state. The 2020-2021 school year offered more challenges than most, but the local athletes competing at the high school and college level took on the challenges with positive attitudes, setting an example in the Sheridan County community.
The Sheridan Press will once again recognize those students through the annual Sports Awards ceremony May 12. Athletes in each sport will be celebrated, along with recognition for special categories like sportsmanship and perseverance.
Join us in celebrating these student-athletes with a red-carpet celebration at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with curtain at 7 p.m.
