January 7 – Tom Horn – Hosted by Buck Brannaman – Ranchers hire a well-known former army scout to get rid of the rustlers who are plaguing them. While doing the job, Horn shoots a boy and is put on trial for murder. The hired gun soon learns that his skills are of no use in defending himself against ambitious ranchers and corrupt officals. Starring Steve McQueen. Run time 1:38.


January 14 – Blood on the Moon Hosted by Craig Johnson – Down-and-out cowhand Jim Garry (Robert Mitchum) is asked by his old friend Tate Riling (Robert Preston) to help mediate a cattle dispute. When Garry arrives, however, it soon becomes clear that Riling has not been entirely forthright. Garry uncovers Riling’s plot to dupe local rancher John Lufton (Tom Tully) out of a fortune. When Lufton’s firecracker of a daughter, Amy (Barbara Bel Geddes), gets involved, Garry must choose between his old loyalties and what he knows to be right. Run time 1:28.


January 21 – Yellow SkyHosted by Aaron Linden – Fugitive James “Stretch” Dawson (Gregory Peck) and his ring of bandits hide out in a town that has been deserted by its entire population, except for a young woman named Mike (Anne Baxter) and her grandfather. When Dude (Richard Widmark), the cruelest thug in the gang, learns from the two locals that there is gold nearby, he devises a scheme to knock off Mike and her grandpa, then gets his cohorts to go along with the plan. Stretch refuses, which leads to a violent power struggle. Run time 1:38.


January 28 – Shane Hosted by Sean Patrick Higgins – Enigmatic gunslinger Shane (Alan Ladd) rides into a small Wyoming town with hopes of quietly settling down as a farmhand. Taking a job on homesteader Joe Starrett’s (Van Heflin) farm, Shane is drawn into a battle between the townsfolk and ruthless cattle baron Rufus Ryker (Emile Meyer). Shane’s growing attraction to Starrett’s wife, Marian (Jean Arthur), and his fondness for their son Joey (Brandon de Wilde), who idolizes Shane, force Shane to realize that he must thwart Ryker’s plan. Run time 1:58.
