The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee will host Candidate Forums for the upcoming General Election on Sept. 26 and 27 at 6 pm. The focus for the Sept. 26 forum will be on the contested positions in the educational races: Sheridan County School District #1, #2 and #3 Trustees and Sheridan College Trustees. The Sept. 27 forum will have candidates for the contested positions for federal, state, city and town races: Governor, U.S. Representative, Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Senator – District #21, State Representative – District #29, Dayton Mayor, Dayton Town Council, Ranchester Mayor and Sheridan City Council.
The forum is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the Chamber’s YouTube channel. A recording will also be available following the forum on the channel. For more information, call 672-2485.
