Louise and Theo Maske have their conservative existence shattered when Louise’s bloomers fall down in public. Though she pulls them up quickly, he thinks the incident will cost him his job as a government clerk. The momentary display does not result in scandal, but does attract two infatuated men, each with ostensible interest in the Maskes’ spare room for rent. The oblivious Theo happily splits the room between the ridiculous duo, judging himself a brilliant businessman. As the would-be Casanovas circle in, the comedy ratchets up in this nonstop high speed farce.
