WYO PLAY Young Theatre Makers Ensemble will produce ALL IN THE TIMING by David Ives, six one-act plays. These six short comedies play with language and words to examine various aspects of relationships and attempts—only some successful—at communication.
The Young Theatre Makers Ensemble brings together high school theatre artists from across the Sheridan area to grow as performers, technicians, and people through collaboration in performance training and theatrical productions. Last summer, the Ensemble produced two one-act plays by Emily Hageman that explored the inner lives of young people asking some of life’s biggest questions. This summer, the Ensemble will lean into the lighter side of things.
The Ensemble will be led by Grace Cannon-Wallace, and the task of directing the plays will be shared with at least two other directors—one of them a student director. Rehearsals will take place in the evenings on weekdays in July & performances will be held on August 10, 11, 12.
Auditions will take place on May 23 & 24 from 5:00-6:00PM in the Mars Black Box Theater. It is only necessary to attend one of these times, but you are welcome to come to both, if you like. No preparation needed – just show up ready to play and present yourself. Anyone currently finishing 9th-12th Grades are welcome to audition.
