From buying a one way ticket after his junior year in high school out of small town Sheridan, Wyoming to Nashville, Tennessee with less than $100 in his pocket to performing all over the world for crowds from arenas in Germany to hospitals in Thailand and a string of swaggy boss baller music videos with front flips and stunt fight scenes in the back of U-hauls, wether its writing and producing his own multi-genred original music, sneaking into the Golden Globe awards, winning MTV reality shows, going from dance choreography to a synthesizer solo, or flirting with your girlfriend… he kills the game, and yes that was one sentence.

Last seen on the stage in Grace, Ed Asner is one of the most honored actors in television history, with 16 EMMY nominations, five Golden Globe Awards, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild. He is best known for voicing Carl Frederickson in the Pixie box-office smash UP (which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature), and for his many widely praised television roles with The Mary Tyler Moore TV series, Roots, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, and Men At Work. A Man And His Prostate was created and written by award-winning Ed Weinberger, who has been showered with EMMYS (9) and Golden Globes (3), and has earned a Peabody Award. Weinberger wrote for Bob Hope, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Dean Martin Comedy Hour, Taxi, and the Bill Cosby Show for eight seasons. A Man And His Prostate, is based on Ed Weinberger’s true life experience while vacationing in Italy and being rushed to a hospital for prostate cancer surgery.

From the Great Wall of China to packed auditoriums in the Holy Land and more recently being the first Irish band to perform at the greatest music festival in the world, “Rock in Rio” on front of an estimate audience of two hundred and forty thousand people, Dervish have come a long way in seventeen years. Formed in 1989 by a group of five musicians, Liam Kelly, Shane Mitchell, Martin Mc Ginley, Brian Mc Donagh and Michael Holmes who came together to record an album of local music which was released as The Boys of Sligo. Dervish concert performances are a myriad of tones and moods ranging from high energy tunes, played with fluidity and intuitiveness, to beautifully measured songs, from charming lyrics of life and love, to inspiring melodies that lift audiences from their seats.
