Kids Jam is a free music program that music instructor Max McClenahan started July, 2019 with the goal of teaching young musicians how to improvise and make music together. A core group of six musicians would come every week and their musical abilities sky rocketed! They took the riffs and ideas that they had and started writing full songs with improvised sections. They call themselves The ETA (Edgy Teenagers Association) as they don’t want to be confined to playing only one mainstream genre.
We have Miles, Ivy, and Trip on guitar; Afton on bass; Joss on saxophone; and Thomas on drums, with Max McClenahan as conductor and accompanying on guitar.
