Please join Tandem Productions for their 24th season presenting the wonderful musical comedy Guys and Dolls, Jr. The cast of 58 young thespians (ranging in age from 8-15) from Sheridan and Johnson Counties will bring the story to life!
Guys and Dolls has been described as the perfect musical comedy. It is based on Damon Runyon’s short story, “The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown”, which describes the unlikely romance between a pure at heart urban missionary (Sarah) and a slick Broadway gambler (Sky Masterson). The show’s second romantic storyline involves Nathan Detroit and Miss Adelaide, who have been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan organizes the “oldest established, permanent floating crap game in New York”, and Adelaide is the main attraction at the Hot Box nightclub. The Broadway Junior production of this musical has been produced by Music Theatre International and has been developed specifically for children ages 8-15 to perform.
Guys and Dolls, Jr. will open at the WYO Theater on Sophie’s stage for four performances June 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th. House opens at 7PM with curtain time each evening at 7:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss it!!!
